WhatIWear was started in 2022 by founder & CEO Nduduzo Magwaza — a self-taught designer who first learned to sew by repairing donated clothes for his family. Registered in 2024, the brand now serves over 500 customers a year from Boksburg, Gauteng.
We make denim jackets, jeans, hoodies, tees and track pants — every piece cut and stitched to the customer's measurements. We also do clothing repairs and custom prints for individuals, businesses and bulk orders.
Sustainable. Self-expressive. Independent.
"I've worn fast-fashion my whole life. The first time I put on the WhatIWear jacket I understood what 'fits like a glove' actually means. People stop me in the street."
"We ordered 40 hoodies for our soccer team. Delivered on time, perfect prints, the boys haven't taken them off. Nduduzo communicates better than any big brand we've dealt with."
"My small business needed branded tees that didn't look cheap. WhatIWear nailed the design, the fabric is heavyweight, and we got them in under two weeks. New supplier for life."
"Off-the-rack jeans never fit my body type. These were cut to my exact measurements — first time in my life jeans feel like they were made FOR me. Because they were."
Our studio is on Bosruiter Street, Windmill Park. We welcome visits by appointment — come pick fabric, take measurements, or just talk through your idea over coffee.
